About AVALUST
AVALUST was born from a life that asked Irene to start over and from a promise to keep telling the truth about that journey.
Irene is 37, a mother of two, and an immigrant who built a new chapter in the United States after leaving Ecuador. She and her son are autistic. She is married to a man who stands beside her in every decision, every hard day, and every new beginning. Their partnership is one of the reasons this business exists.
She came to the United States to give her child a better life, and to reunite with the person who is now her husband. To rebuild a love that had been waiting across borders. That move was not simple. It meant leaving the familiar, carrying responsibility for her children, and learning how to live, work, and belong in a country that was not yet home.
AVALUST is how she shares that story and how she makes space for others. This business was opened so people who have immigrated, started over, or faced circumstances that changed everything can see themselves reflected with honesty and dignity. Not as a headline. As a whole life: family, love, disability, courage, and the quiet work of building something new.
If you have crossed a border, rebuilt a family, or carried a challenge most people never see, you are part of why AVALUST exists. Irene’s story is one of them. She hopes yours can live here too.
